Breakfast, briefly check emails, notifications, RSS, LinkedIn.

Start work

at 8:00, often earlier, sometimes later.

Hard Productivity

Programming and other creative tasks that MUST NOT be interrupted.

Lunch

typically starts around 12:15 and lasts around 30 minutes.

Soft Productivity

Productive tasks that can be interrupted, and miscellaneous stuff.

End work

at 16:00, never earlier, preferably not later.

Dinner

around 17:30.

Entertainment

YouTube and other distractions.

Go to bed

preferably around 21:30, often after 22:00, preferably never after 00:00.

Features

Simplicity

There really isn't much to keep track of, here.
Every day is similar and the main timeslices
mostly align with morning/afternoon/evening.

Consistency

This schedule typically applies 7 days a week, nearly 365 days a year.

Basically, I always get the best of Monday (ready for high productivity),
Friday (close to weekend) and Saturday (start of weekend), every day!

Flexibility

This schedule can easily support almost any type of workload I may need.
The Productivity timeslices can easily be repurposed when appropriate.
Soft Productivity is great for absorbing variations, such as going outdoors.

Discipline

This schedule makes it easy to achieve high discipline without sacrifices!

Momentum

This schedule makes it inherently easy to gain and maintain momentum!

Disruption resistance

Sometimes, life happens and may throw things off balance.
The schedule helps to get back on track as soon as possible.

Sustainability and self-regulation

With a "mini-weekend" of guilt-free entertainment at the end of each day,
this schedule is inherently burnout-proof!

The flexible Entertainment period (no hard time limit),
along with the 100% sacrosanct 7:00 limit for getting out of bed,
allows to safely manage Productivity VS Entertainment tradeoffs.

Overindulging in Entertainment incurs a punishment (feeling groggy),
encouraging to scale back Entertainment to pay back the sleep deficit.
